In MF 014, co-host and entrepreneur, John Lim, interviews Stacey Harris on her successful career in the legal profession.  Stacey attributes her success to a strong work ethic, perseverance and the power of mentors; which she learned playing fastpitch softball in college.  As an avid baseball lover, Stacey cites the classic film ‘A League of Their Own’ (blu ray) / streaming video which recounts the story of an all-female baseball league during WWII as one of her favorite movies and a source of inspiration.  Specifically, Stacey embraces the scene from the film with team manager Jim Dugan (portrayed by Tom Hanks) and the team’s star pitcher Dorothy “Dottie” Hinson (portrayed by Gina Davis) who quits saying “it’s too hard” to which he responds “it’s supposed to be hard, it’s the hard that makes it great.” Stacey keeps this quote engraved on a paperweight on her desk to remind her that greatness comes from pushing thru the difficult times.
